At Elgé, we offer FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING FOR ALL WATCHES AND ORDERS ABOVE €120.


1. SHIPPING PROCESS

Once your order is placed, it will be prepared and shipped within 2–3 business days if your watch is in stock.

If your watch is not in stock, the dispatch date depends on its availability. Please refer to the product page for details.

As soon as your order is handed to the carrier, you will receive a tracking number via email.

All our watches and accessories are shipped internationally with DHL from France, where they are assembled.

We do not ship to PO boxes.

All watches and accessories are shipped internationally with DHL from France. All our watches are assembled in France.


3. CUSTOMS & TAXES

1) European Union Customers

For EU customers, VAT and import duties are already included in the checkout price. No additional charges will apply at delivery.

2) Customers outside the EU

For all other destinations, import duties and taxes vary by country. Customers are responsible for verifying and paying these charges at delivery.

By placing an order, you agree to:

  • Pay any duties, taxes, or customs fees required by your local authorities.
  • Understand that failure to pay may result in delays, non-delivery, or extra fees (for which we are not responsible).
  • Acknowledge that shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable if the package is refused or returned.

FOR U.S. CUSTOMERS [last update: January 22, 2026]

Since August 29, 2025, U.S. Customs has removed the de minimis exemption for imports under USD 800. While shipping remains FREE for our watches, all shipments are now subject to:

  • Customs duties: ~15% on EU imports (calculated on the full commercial value, even discounted/promotional).
  • DHL Import Processing Fee: ~USD 17 flat brokerage fee.
  • Additional clearance fee: ~USD 35 if processed as a formal entry by U.S. Customs.
  • Bonded storage fees: may apply if held in a Customs bonded warehouse due to late payment or missing documents.
  • Potential additional import surcharges: Additional import surcharges may apply depending on regulations in force at the time of import.

To avoid storage fees, we recommend: monitoring your DHL tracking link, checking your email (including spam/junk), submitting requested documents, and paying duties/taxes promptly once contacted by DHL.

These charges are determined by U.S. Customs and/or DHL at clearance and must be paid before delivery, usually within 3–5 days. DHL will contact you securely before delivery.

If charges are not paid on time, the parcel will be returned to us and return shipping costs will apply.

Warranty Returns & Repairs (USA)

If a watch is returned to France for repair and then shipped back to the U.S., we will declare it as a returning product with a nominal customs value (for documentation only). However, U.S. Customs may still apply duties and taxes, which remain the customer’s responsibility.


IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR UK CUSTOMERS

Since Brexit, shipping remains FREE for our watches, but UK customers must pay 20% VAT. This payment will be securely collected by DHL before delivery.


4. WHERE DO WE NOT SHIP?

We ship worldwide. However, we DO NOT ship to the following countries:
